Dit platform, genaamd Global Signal Exchange (GSE), verzamelt en deelt signalen van fraude om deze effectief aan te pakken.\u00a0Volgens de partijen is het initiatief belangrijk voor de ict-sector omdat het bedrijven en organisaties helpt om sneller en nauwkeuriger frauduleuze activiteiten te identificeren en te blokkeren.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De GSE maakt gebruik van de uitgebreide dataset van de DNS Research Federation, die meer dan veertig miljoen signalen bevat, gecombineerd met Googles expertise op het gebied van fraudebestrijding. Dit resulteert in \u2018schaalbare en gebruiksvriendelijke\u2019 oplossingen waarmee organisaties verdachte activiteiten sneller kunnen opsporen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tijdens een pilot heeft Google al meer dan honderdduizend frauduleuze URL\u2019s gedeeld die zijn geblokkeerd vanwege oplichtingspogingen. Inmiddels zijn via het platform al meer dan een miljoen signalen verwerkt.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>Verhoogde beveiliging van Google-accounts Google benadrukt het belang van samenwerking tussen de industrie, overheid en maatschappelijke organisaties om fraude effectief te bestrijden. Naast de GSE werkt het bedrijf aan initiatieven zoals cross-account protection, waarmee inmiddels 3,2 miljard gebruikers worden beschermd.
