As it currently stands, Apple is only using natural language generation for telling jokes with Siri on Apple TV. The company is experimenting with how language generation could be used for timers, as well.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article-share\" data-v-795849a0=\"\">\n<div class=\"share-actions\" data-v-795849a0=\"\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Siri en de AI-upgrade<\/h2>\n<p>AI tool ChatGPT is de reden voor de stijgende interesse van de slimme tech en na Google en Microsoft voelt ook Apple de druk dit aan te gaan bieden in hun tools:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>Currently, Siri is powered by a system that\u2019s based on templates, rather than any sort of language-generating artificial intelligence. As yesterday\u2019s report noted, this has led to significant engineering and scaling challenges for Siri over the last decade.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no timeline on when Apple will expand its current natural language generation technology beyond Apple TV. This is essentially Apple\u2019s way of quietly and slowly beta-testing its first foray into this sort of AI technology.
