Het reeds aangekondigde Disney Plus<\/a> gaat 12 november 2019\u00a0 in Nederland en de VS van start en zou rond de 7 euro per maand moeten gaan kosten, alvast op de hoogte worden gehouden kan hier<\/a>. Disney wil binnen vijf jaar richting de 100 miljoen gebruikers werven. Tech- en gadgetplatform Engadget meldt op 20 augustus 2019 dat Apple nu worstelt met hun onderscheidende strategie en lancering van hun Apple tv+.<\/p>\n

Feit is dat Apple de streaming dienst-lancering in november 2019 – nog voor de lancering van Disney+ – zou willen doen:<\/p>\n

Apple has been on a content-buying spree over the past year or so, because it seems it’s almost ready to launch its Netflix competitor. According to\u00a0Bloomberg<\/em>\u00a0reports, the tech giant is planning to roll out its TV+ subscription service in November, and it looks like it\u2019ll set you back $10 a month. The\u00a0Financial Times\u00a0<\/em>says Cupertino is trying to pre-empt Disney Plus’ debut, so TV+ could become available earlier than November 12th.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It’s spending a lot of money in an attempt to make more money, particularly to contribute to its goal to reach $50 billion in service sales by 2020. Sounds like TV+ could cost quite a bit more than its competitors’, though, so its success will have to rely on factors other than pricing. Disney’s contender will only cost $7 a month, and even Netflix’s basic option is only $9. In addition to pricing and availability, Bloomberg’s<\/em>\u00a0sources revealed that Apple is considering various strategies for the service, including launching programs with their first three episodes and then following those up with a weekly release. The service will reportedly be available worldwide upon launch in over 150 countries.<\/p>\n
