De radiozender met onder andere Theo van Gogh en Beau van Erven Dorens<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>was niet alleen op de middengolf te beluisteren, maar was ook te vinden op de FM via diverse lokale kabelradiosystemen. Door de toenmalige markt- en technologische omstandigheden staakte Talk Radio in 1998 helaas haar uitzendingen.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nAnno 2019 is de mediawereld is radicaal veranderd. Talk Radio is in de Verenigde Staten uitgegroeid tot het populairste genre, terwijl in Nederland het gesproken woord op de FM alleen de ruimte krijgt bij NPO Radio 1 en BNR. De groeiende populariteit van podcasts\u00a0laat zien dat er wel degelijk vraag is naar het gesprek. <a href=\"http:\/\/talkradio.nl\">TalkRadio<\/a> wil inspringen op deze ontwikkelingen.\u00a0Later dit jaar wordt bekend gemaakt in welke vorm dat is.<\/p>\n<p>Initiatiefnemer Richard Otto (Tens Media) zegt over Talk Radio:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Samen met radiomakers, podcasters en andere partners willen we een nieuwe toekomst voor\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/talkradio.nl\/\">TalkRadio<\/a>\u00a0in Nederland gaan vormen. Het platform biedt mogelijkheden voor het gesprek van de dag, maar ook voor thema\u2019s die nu nog te weinig airplay krijgen.
