Onderin het beeldscherm worden twee advertenties weergegeven. Tot op heden was Google Maps altijd reclamevrij.<\/p>\n<h2>Google maps<\/h2>\n<p>De meeste apps en producten van Google, zoals bijvoorbeeld Gmail, zijn al geruime tijd voorzien van advertenties. Ondanks dat Google Maps veel gebruikt wordt, was Google Maps tot op heden nog niet voorzien van advertenties.<\/p>\n<p>Nog niet alle gebruikers van Google Maps zien advertenties in de app. Dit wijst erop dat Google de weergave van advertenties bij een selectief aantal gebruikers test. Meldingen over de weergave van advertenties komen van over de hele wereld.
