Juli 2018 was dit te zien op de pagina:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0Yahoo Messenger will no longer be supported after July 17, 2018. Until then, you can continue to use the service normally. After July 17, you&#8217;ll no longer be able to access your chats and the service will no longer work.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>App<\/h2>\n<p>De nieuwe app is beschikbaar voor iOS- en Apple-apparaten. Hij is bedoeld om groepsberichten makkelijker te maken. Yahoo, tegenwoordig onderdeel van Verizon&#8217;s mediadivisie Oath, begon begin 2018 met het testen van de nieuwe app, onder de codenaam &#8216;Squirrel&#8217;. Met Yahoo Together kunnen gebruikers groepen maken en vervolgens gesprekken groeperen in onderwerpen, zodat ze onderwerpen kunnen volgen waarin ze ge\u00efnteresseerd zijn terwijl ze andere gesprekken in de groep dempen. Verder zijn een gedeelde agenda en herinneringen mogelijk, met meldingen voor de hele groep voor opkomende gebeurtenissen. Aangepaste persoonlijke reacties kunnen ook worden ingesteld in een gesprek en na\u00a0het downloaden van de app kunnen gebruikers anderen via een verstuurde code uitnodigen om mee te doen. Yahoo Together vereist geen toegang tot contacten op de telefoon.
