Facebook doet er alles aan om te veranderen. Zowel op privacy gebied als met handige features. Het social media platform wil weer echt een sociaal platform zijn dat mensen verbindt.\u00a0 Naast het opzetten van een videoplatform komt het nu met: Watch Party. Deze is na een lange periode van testen eindelijk gelanceerd. Techcrunch zegt over de nieuwe optie:<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the past few months,\u00a0Facebook\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0has\u00a0been testing something it calls \u201cWatch Party\u201d<\/a>. It\u2019s a feature that would let Facebook Groups host shared video streaming sessions, with everyone in the group being able to see\/comment on the same videos at the same time. Take the Facebook Live concept and swap in a queue of pre-selected videos to make a sort of ad hoc video channel, and that\u2019s a Watch Party.<\/p>\n

The feature is currently limited to Facebook Groups; the company says it\u2019s testing support on Pages, but it\u2019s not quite ready yet.<\/p>\n

One other limitation to the current form: it\u2019ll only work with videos hosted on Facebook (no YouTube, Twitter, etc), presumably due to all sorts of technical\/licensing issues. (Plus, you know, competition.)<\/p>\n
