In de komende update van WhatsApp zal een nieuwe functie worden toegevoegd waarmee een beheerder van een groeps-chat de enige zender kan zijn. Bij groeps-chats kan de beheerder instellen dat alleen hij of zij berichten kan plaatsen. Andere groepsleden kunnen hierdoor niet antwoorden.\u00a0 de Engelse krant The Independent<\/em> meldt:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The latest feature follows several other recent updates aimed at improving the group experience, such as group descriptions, a catch up feature and methods to prevent people being re-added to groups they have left.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

De functie is volgens WhatsApp zelf een belangrijke toevoeging om de berichtenstroom overzichtelijk te houden. New Group Setting for Admins<\/a><\/div>\n

Over the last few months, we’ve added\u00a0new features<\/a>\u00a0that improve the groups experience. Some of these include group descriptions, a catch up feature, and protection for people who are being added repeatedly to groups they’ve left.<\/p>\n

Today, we’re launching a new group setting where only admins are able to send messages to a group. One way people use groups is to receive important announcements and information, including parents and teachers at schools, community centers, and non-profit organizations. We’ve introduced this new setting so admins can have better tools for these use cases.<\/p>\n

To enable this setting, open \u201cGroup Info,\u201d tap Group Settings > Send Messages and select \u201cOnly Admins.\u201d This setting is rolling out to all users around the world on the latest supported versions of the app.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
