Ondanks een succesvolle beursgang, is er nog veel onrust bij Snap(chat). Februari 2018 vertrok topman Jeff Lucas, even later klopte wereldwijd miljoenen Snap-gebruikers op de deur van het populaire jongeren sociale netwerk om te klagen over de nieuwe interface.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ontslagen<\/h1>\n

Al eerder moesten tientallen medewerkers vertrekken bij de contentdivisie. Snap is nu van plan zo een 100 engineers te ontslaan, 10 procent van het totale werknemersbestand. Dat\u00a0meldt<\/a>\u00a0althans CNBC op basis van anonieme bronnen. De afgelopen maanden vonden er meerdere ontslagrondes plaats binnen diverse afdelingen waaronder marketing, recruiting en content. Snap telde eind 2017 wereldwijd 3.000 werknemers. CNBC zegt:<\/p>\n

The company last month rolled out the redesign of its pioneering photo messaging app. The redesign separated publisher content from content posted by friends and connections.<\/p>\n

Snap reported roughly 3,000 employees as of the December quarter and said in its first annual filing that it expected “headcount growth to continue for the foreseeable future.”<\/p>\n
