Om dit ook de komende jaren mogelijk te maken en hier een verdere professionaliseringsslag op te maken, zal Gerben Kuipers zich per 1 mei ontfermen over New Business bij Path\u00e9. Een terechte bekroning voor een man die in zijn ruim veertigjarige carri\u00e8re in de bioscoopbranche van CineMec, sinds 2014 onderdeel van Path\u00e9, een begrip heeft gemaakt. Hij is eerst en vooral een vernieuwer. Met zijn creativiteit, enthousiasme en doorzettingsvermogen staat hij steeds vooraan met nieuwe technische ontwikkelingen en innovatieve concepten. Kuipers is een visionair met een grote kennis van zaken. Zo verraste hij de bioscoopbranche onlangs met de samenwerking met Mojo voor de Harry Potter Exhibition naast CineMec Utrecht.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dertje Meijer, Managing Director van Path\u00e9 Theatres:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>Gerben stond de afgelopen veertig jaar met zijn CineMec bioscopen aan de basis van vele vernieuwingen, zoals 3D en de introductie van eventcinema. Daarnaast zette hij zijn bioscopen in voor andere activiteiten zoals congressen, zakelijke en publieksevenementen.
