Within this context, your core mission in this role is to support the Media Relations Manager in the Netherlands in the execution of local external communications plans (with a strong focus on digital) and activities. In doing so you support all AkzoNobel businesses and priorities e.g. company purpose, core principles, values and behaviors to achieve leading market positions in the market.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Thus you monitor and create (on-line and offline) news and provide a digital influencer overview. You also follow trends and proactively seek social media opportunities and you are responsible for the media mailbox in the Netherlands.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Further, you support the global media relations function by keeping the press system up to date, creating social and traditional content, and supporting press events. \u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Other responsibilities include coordinating and checking translations, distributing press materials such as infographics, vines, digital postings etc, managing press lists, and deploying centrally developed content to social media platforms.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>As such, this is an exciting role for an ambitious and digital-savvy professional with a good media network and a proven track record of the effective delivery of integrated, multi-channel PR programs and campaigns.
