Daarbij zegt Facebook met de timeline te rommelen uit onderzoek. Facebook zegt zelf over de keuzes in de timeline:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"_4ng0\">De verslagen die worden weergegeven in je nieuwsoverzicht worden be\u00efnvloed door je connecties en activiteiten op Facebook. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je meer interessante verslagen ziet van de vrienden waar je het meest contact mee hebt. Het aantal reacties en vind-ik-leuks dat een bericht ontvangt en het soort verslag dat het is (bijvoorbeeld een foto, video of statusupdate), kunnen het ook waarschijnlijker maken dat het verslag wordt weergegeven in je nieuwsoverzicht.\u00a0Als je het idee hebt dat je verslagen mist die je graag wilt zien of verslagen in je nieuwsoverzicht ziet die je niet wilt zien, kun je <a class=\"_5dwo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/335291769884272\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">je instellingen aanpassen<\/a>.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"_4ng0\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"_4ng0\">\n<p>Trucs waren er om alles wat jij belangrijk vindt simpelweg als belangrijk contact aan te duiden. Per direct heeft Facebook toch beterschap beloofd. Zij laten namelijk nu meer nieuws zien van vrienden en familie.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p class=\"summary\"><em>De veranderingen in het nieuwsoverzicht zijn <a href=\"http:\/\/newsroom.fb.com\/news\/2016\/06\/building-a-better-news-feed-for-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vandaag aangekondigd<\/a>. Facebook meldt ook dat het van gebruikers wil leren. Ook zegt Facebook dat partijen\u00a0die veel van Facebook\u00a0gebruikmaken, minder bezoekers kunnen verwachten door de\u00a0aanpassingen in het algoritme terug. Relevantie lijkt key te gaan worden op Facebook:<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>The goal of News Feed is to show people the stories that are most relevant to them. In the decade since, more than a billion people have joined Facebook, and today they share a flood of stories every day. That\u2019s why stories in News Feed are ranked \u2014 so that people can see what they care about first, and don\u2019t miss important stuff from their friends. If the ranking is off, people don\u2019t engage, and leave dissatisfied. So one of our most important jobs is getting this ranking right.<\/p>\n<p>As part of that process, we often make improvements to News Feed, and when we do, we rely on a set of core values. <a href=\"https:\/\/newsfeed.fb.com\/values\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">These values<\/a> \u2014 which we\u2019ve been using for years \u2014 guide our thinking, and help us keep the central experience of News Feed intact as it evolves.
