Pinterest heeft de ‘Pin It’-knop in de app en website vervangen door een ‘opslaan’-knop. Het Pinnen<\/em> is niet meer. Dit meldt het visuele platform op haar blog.\u00a0De functie moet zo duidelijker zijn maar moet vooral internationaal goed duiden wat het doet.<\/div>\n

Now that more than half of people who use Pinterest are from outside the United States, we\u2019ve been working harder than ever to make sure our app and website are easy to use no matter where you live or what language you speak. Unfortunately it turns out that the notion of \u201cPinning\u201d ideas doesn\u2019t always resonate with everyone around the world.\u00a0So we decided to test what would happen if we swapped our Pin It button for the more utilitarian Save instead. We were amazed by just how many new Pinners started saving ideas on Pinterest, especially people from outside the US.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Er is gekozen voor de term ‘opslaan’ \u00a0omdat dit internationaal duidelijker is en omdat dit uit testen als beter converterend is gebleken. Zo wordt er dus meer opgeslagen dan gepind. Ook is het ‘Pin-overzicht’ nu duidelijker geworden. Aldus Pinterest op hun blog.<\/p>\n
