Deze award wordt sinds 2007 uitgereikt. In de professionele competitie zijn Yvonne Brandwijk, Simone da Lima en\u00a0Mari\u00eblle van Uitert genomineerd. Yvonne Brandwijk doet het in\u00a0de categorie \u2018Candid\u2019. De awards worden per categorie uitgereikt op 21 april tijdens een gala ceremonie in Londen. De overall winnaar mag zich Fotograaf van het Jaar noemen, en wint de nieuwste digitale Sony-apparatuur en een geldprijs van 30.000 dollar.
