Met de hulp van de vroeger\u00a0PayPal president David Marcus, heeft Facebook 30 juni 2015 hun social payments platform voor alle Amerikanen uitgerold. Allereerst heb je wel een Facebook debit card nodig die aan jouw account is gelinkt. Zo kun je direct met elkaar via de Messenger betalen verichten. Tik eenvoudig een bedrag in naast het product dat jij aanbiedt. Het bedrag wordt een link en klikbaar om zo de betaling af te ronden. Het is afwachten of het systeem in 2015 al naar Europa komt. De gekoppelde manieren van betalen zullen in Nederland &#8211; en de rest van Europa &#8211; flink verschillen.
