Facebook gaf aan meer dan 2700 inzendingen uit 160 landen te hebben ontvangen.<\/p>\n<h2>Trends<\/h2>\n<p>Op de blog van Facebook nuanceerde de organisator de trend voor dit jaar. Veel inzendingen kwamen vooral uit opkomende economie-en maar vooral uit Azi\u00eb. Facebook verklaarde dit door de stijging in mobiel gebruik van Facebook in dat deel van de wereld. Bovendien gebruiken wij Facebook &#8211; en vooral Instagram &#8211; steeds vaker voor het (wereldwijd) delen van ons persoonlijk verhaal. Ook video wordt steeds meer gebruikt op Facebook. 200 miljoen mensen gebruiken Instagram dagelijks en gebruiken het platform zo een 21 minuten per dag.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Since last year\u2019s Facebook Awards, Facebook and Instagram have grown significantly and remain the largest mobile media platforms in digital media. Every month over 1.4 billion people visit Facebook on mobile, and people on Facebook are creating 75% more video posts than last year at this time.
