Starwood Hotels Amsterdam is looking for a real Seller in role as Events Coordinator! Working within the events team, this position has the responsibility for handling and managing groups and events for Hotel Pulitzer and the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center from the enquiry stage to the execution (including invoicing and after sales). In order to optimize revenue & utilization of meeting space and guest satisfaction, working to ensure, at a minimum, delivery of budgeted revenues.\u00a0\u00a0The Events Specialist will demonstrate enthusiasm and provide consistently high level customer service, in accordance with Starwood Standards & Programs.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure regular updates in Opera on specific bookings within the timeframes that are provided in order to assist the Events Manager and Revenue Manager with accurate forecasting.<\/em><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Communicate daily to Events Supervisor and Events Manager on any critical issues and activities of the Events\u00a0Department particularly any variances which might influence the forecast<\/em><\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Work in accordance with budget guidelines, ensuring minimum numbers and pricing guidelines when quoting for business, however taking in account when flexibility is needed to \u2018close the business\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n
