AtMostTV-presentatrice Maha spreekt daar met Julia Hartz, medeoprichter en destijds president van Eventbrite.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Hartz richtte Eventbrite in 2006 op met Kevin Hartz en Renaud Visage. Het online platform maakte het voor organisatoren eenvoudiger om evenementen te publiceren, onder de aandacht te brengen en tickets te verkopen. Daarmee groeide Eventbrite uit tot een bekende internationale speler binnen de evenementen- en ticketbranche.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Tijdens The Next Web stond niet alleen de technologie achter het platform centraal. Hartz sprak ook over ondernemerschap, internationale groei en het belang van een sterke bedrijfscultuur. Eventbrite groeide in enkele jaren van een kleine start-up met drie oprichters naar een organisatie met honderden medewerkers. Die snelle ontwikkeling vroeg volgens Hartz om duidelijke waarden, zorgvuldig leiderschap en blijvende aandacht voor de mensen binnen het bedrijf.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Een succesvolle onderneming draait volgens haar namelijk niet uitsluitend om investeringen, technologie of omzetgroei. Ook het aannemen van de juiste medewerkers, het cre\u00ebren van vertrouwen en het bewaken van de oorspronkelijke ondernemersmentaliteit spelen een belangrijke rol.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Het interview geeft een interessant beeld van een periode waarin online ticketverkoop, sociale media en digitale evenementpromotie sterk in opkomst waren.
