VIDEO: Instagram Social-camera 2013 op de markt

Het idee was reeds sinds mei 2012 een buzz. Het was nog een idee letterlijk op de tekentafel en gemaakt in concept door ADR Studio. Hun idee: ‘Try to think to pick the Instagram App icon and try to make a real camera.’

Het idee werd een project genaam ‘ Instagram Socialmatic Project’. De studio verwijst naar

Specs

Socialmatic moet de eerste  Instagram fotocamera worden met als specs:

– 16 GB mass storage;
– Wifi en Bluetooth;
– een 4:3 touchscreen;
– 2 hoofdlenzen, de eerste voor de foto, de tweede voor 3D filters, webcam apps en QR Code capturing;
– Optical zoom;
– Led Flash;
– Internal printer net als de 80s Polaroid;
– Instagram Paper Sheets;
– InstaOs 1.0, die is gelinkt aan Facebook en Instagram App features kent.

De video met concept

De video toont een platte camera geheel in Instagram-look en verwijzing naar het logo.

Op de markt

Augustus 2012 weet de studio te melden dat het project investeerders heeft gevonden en de 80s lookalike camera ergens in 2013 op de markt komt. “Dear Users, we are glad to inform you the Socialmatic Project is now in its most important phase. At the end of this year we want to have the first prototype and the launch has been schedule for Middle 2013.”
