You create compelling multimedia stories that are tailored to ASML’s target audiences and help to achieve the company’s communications goals.
Job Description
Communications is influencing people with words or images. You know how to find the good stories, and how to tell them well to engage, inspire and inform. This position is part of the integrated communications team, which includes corporate communications, employer branding and recruitment communications as well as internal communications. Based on our content strategy, which you will help to develop further, you will fill the editorial calendar by creating stories as well as commissioning and editing them. In addition, you will assist ASML’s senior and executive management with creating material for talks and presentations. You can tailor a story to the medium and the target audience, and your output ranges from text to presentations and video. You have a high affinity for technology and (near-) native English. Additional written languages, notably Mandarin, Korean or Japanese, would be an advantage.
Main responsibilities
• Ongoing development of the company’s content strategy and themes
• Commissioning, editing and creating text and multimedia content that supports the content strategy
• Keeping the content calendar filled by proactively identifying possible stories
• Supporting senior and executive management in the preparation of talks and presentations
Education
• BA or higher
• Science / technology background is a plus
Experience
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in journalism, communications or related field
• Proven ability to tell a story in text and multimedia and tailor it to target audience and medium

Context of the position
You will join the global communications group at ASML’s headquarters in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, an experienced team with backgrounds in corporate communications, journalism as well as marketing and PR agencies. While the bulk of the team is in Veldhoven, you will also work with colleagues based in the United States, Korea and Taiwan.
