 Your responsibilities

As a Senior Social Media Manager you will take full responsibility for defining an integrated global social media strategy. Your goal is to bring ever-more rewarding and enjoyable experiences to consumers by meeting their health & well-being needs via connected products. You will:

 

  • Oversee and coordinate all consumer focused efforts (CDJ), including (Social) touch points like Social networks, rating and reviews, registration, care, mobile, e-commerce, (Social) CRM etc.
  • Develop the medium term digital program strategy for the business, manage the user experience throughout the customer decision journey, and process results into a vision/roadmap.
  • Identify, prioritize and drive strategy projects / deep dives that address opportunities or threats to the long-term value creation of the business.
  • Drive the annual strategy review process for the business. Act as the demand lead for digital innovation. 
  • Lead the transition to a more consumer focused marketing driven business model and also the more traditional new product driven marketing lifecycle management.  
  • Build long term retention and loyalty, maximizing the marketing mix for our target consumer segments and raising know-how in multi-channel consumer behavior.
  • Formulate new insights by integral, original thinking and adding new concepts/ elements. Distinctive is a high degree of original, out of the box thinking, needed to find solutions to the assignments.
  • Combine abstract ideas at a high conceptual level, and generate new types of solutions. Formulate, as a recognized authority, solutions across multiple disciplines to effectively achieve goals together.
  • Actively build networks with key contacts in- and outside Philips for your specialism to keep abreast of new developments/insights.

 

Your team

The position of Senior Social Media Manager is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and you will join the Global Marketing team of the Business Group Health and Wellness, part of Philips HealthTech and home to two of Philips’ biggest brands; Philips Sonicare and Philips Avent. The Global Marketing team houses a diverse and lively group of specialists across various marketing disciplines: MarCom, In-Store, On-line, PR, CRM and Consumer Care who work closely together to deliver on the Marketing and Communications plans for the business. This is a passionate and dedicated team with an entrepreneurial spirit in which your views will be encouraged and your growth will be fostered.

We are looking for

  • At least 6- 8 years of related digital marketing experience; Consumer Engagement, Social Media  and CRM
  • Fluency in topics related to mobile, apps and connected products
  • Digital expertise in both strategy and proposition level – requiring consumer insight, trend and technology acumen
  • Knowledge of tools such as Radian6; social content management systems  and Analytics
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a natural bias for action
  • Digital leadership, change agent and driver of new type of propositions
  • Strong communication and personal skills and ability to align stakeholders, market initiatives and business plans across countries and functions. You can articulate clearly and translate digital concepts into consumer and business benefits (and vice-versa)
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
