The eCommerce Engineering Manager leads the team responsible for the development and support of the eCommerce, mobile applications, and B2B integration needs. This manager must possess both the managerial competencies and technical expertise in hybris, iOS, Android, Webmethods, XML, and IDOCs.

Creation

The eCommerce Engineering Manager is responsible for the creation and maintenance of new eCommerce and B2B systems solutions to meet the needs of a growing install base. The manager will strive to achieve results for the improvement of the eCommerce and B2B strategies in alignment with the architectural principles set forth by the IT organization. This manager will partner with the eCommerce organization in the achievement of its digital strategies that support their growth initiatives. The Ecommerce Engineering Manager will also partner with the respective leaders in the eBusiness at the head office in the US. Hires and develops eCommerce Engineering staff.

Responsibilities:
– Contributes to the technology roadmaps in support of business partners respective goals.
– Manage implementation development activities to ensure the requirements of business partners are met.
– Apply project management skills and techniques to meet partner expectations, including internal and external resource (personnel, financial, technical, etc.) management.
– Ensure that team, team/departmental and team/business communications are clear and effective.
– Represent the services performed by the team in meetings and presentations for customers and business partners.
– Work to resolve operational problems, collaborating with other teams as necessary to meet partner expectations.
– Provides management of contractual relationships and negotiations.
– Promote team effectiveness by example.
– Provide individuals with accurate and timely feedback and coaching for performance improvement.
– Manage performance problems.
– Recognize outstanding performance.
– Pursue opportunities for knowledge transfer and instruction of industry best practices within E-Business and to Business Units.

Functie eisen

– At least 10 years experience in the Ecommerce, mobility and/or B2B Integration space with at least 5 years of leadership experience.
– Solid understanding of standard business processes such as Change Management, Problem Management, Work Prioritization, etc.
– Understand how daily operational support activities align with our business partners’ requirements and strategies.
– Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Lean and Agile methodology knowledge preferred
– Project planning and management experience.
– Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
– Proven organizational skills.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task.
– Excellent customer service skills.
– Ability to work with little direction, self-starter.
– Proven ability to achieve objectives within tight time constraints.
– Excellent English speaker, preferred Dutch
