The role and its responsibilities

This role is currently situated at our office in Hoofddorp, but will relocate to our new HQ in Amsterdam in January 2016. You will perform a wide range of activities for the Global Marketing team. This includes managing the calendar and agenda as well as processing email, regular mail and other (international) correspondence. You also prepare meetings and conference calls etc., and make travel arrangements including visa support.

Further, you make/adjust Word documents, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations, creating overviews from our different systems. You also process expense reports, invoices and POs, educating and training team members in using the right administrative tools (travel, expense, PDD).

At all times you act as the key contact between the Team, third party providers and country contacts (Europe and beyond). As such, this is a role for a serious administrative professional with the polish, maturity and communication skills necessary to maintain regular contacts with third parties at all levels of our matrix organization.

Candidate profile

To apply for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

• 5+ years of experience as a Management Assistant supporting executives in an international management team;
• Highly organized and solution oriented with the ability to plan according to priority and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Fluent written and spoken English, with Dutch an advantage;
• Multi-country experience and an understanding and sensitivity to different cultural behaviors;
• Familiar with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
