As Online Marketing Manager at the Open Circles Academy you will be part of a high performing and modern organisation operating out of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.Open Circles Academy is market leader in professional training of ZZP’ers and small business owners. In their quarterly Business Bootcamp they teach between 1,000 – 1,500 entrepreneurs how to turn their passion into profit. In addition they introduce keynote speakers such as Brian Tracy, Annemarie van Gaal, Jay Abraham andRich Shefren to truly inspire and motivate their audience.
As Online Marketing Manager you will be part of a small, dedicated high performing team. You work closely together with your six colleagues from the ambitious marketing team. You report to the Manager Community Development.Vacancy Online Marketing Manager (Open Circles Academy – Amsterdam)
The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing Open Circles online marketing strategy for acquiring new clients and retaining existing clients where appropriate.
The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing Open Circles online marketing strategy for acquiring new clients and retaining existing clients where appropriate.
Besides this, your challenge is also to activate a powerful online community to create even more engagement. This position requires the ability to operate on both strategic and tactical levels.
As Online Marketing Manager your responsibilities are:
- To identify the customer journey and determine critical decision points;
- Drive online traffic, acquisitions, leads and revenue through Display Advertising, Email, Remarketing and any other brand-appropriate digital marketing strategies;
- Manage Search Engine Optimization efforts for targeted keywords, conduct keyword research for new products and develop SEO strategies;
- Develop monthly online campaign calendar in collaboration with Community Development, Client Care, Marketing, and Technology teams and provide regular reporting on conversion and campaign effectiveness;
- Direct responsibility for monitoring Web traffic, conversions and ROI;
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data in order to incorporate learnings into optimizing digital marketing campaigns;
- Communicate and collaborate with the marketing team to develop brand exposure;
- Review new online marketing trends and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

- Minimum of five years of experience in a digital online marketing role for a B2C retailer or agency with a proven track record in driving customer acquisition;
- Exceptional understanding and experience in digital marketing across the various marketing channels;
- Advanced Web analytics capability with a proven aptitude for quantitative analyses.
* Your personality:
- You are a creative thinker who is also highly organized with excellent project management skills and is not afraid to take considered risks;
- Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically and innovatively.
